From Sketch to Form

TKA’s collections begin with inspirations translated by the designer into sketches and mockups. These ideas are then brought to life by couturiers using the finest materials and techniques, through a process that honors precision and craftsmanship.

THE FABRIC USED IN THE COLLECTION
IS SOURCED FROM FRATELLI PIACENZA,
A HISTORIC MILL FOUNDED IN 1733.

Based in the Biella region of Italy, Piacenza has been producing
fine textiles for over ten generations. At the heart of its philosophy lies a commitment to excellence.

From the careful selection of raw materials to weaving, dyeing,
and finishing, every step is guided by a deep respect for natural fibers and a pursuit of their inherent beauty. The wool, chosen with attention even to the animals’ living conditions, possesses a delicate softness and supple strength. Finishing techniques like traditional brushing with thistle flowers embody a poetic sense of craftsmanship passed down through centuries.

I receive this fabric with deep respect—for the time, care, and beauty behind it—and strive to create garments that are worthy of its story.

FOUNDED IN 1826 IN LYON,
GUIGOU IS A LEGENDARY NAME IN JERSEY.

Renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and beloved
by countless haute couture houses. Its circular knitting division,
established in the 1970s, introduced luxurious materials
such as lightweight interlocks, 3D knits, and Milano rib—
widely adopted by prestigious maisons.

Guigou’s jerseys carry the legacy of Lyon’s silk tradition,
and have been trusted by haute couture ateliers for decades.

At TKA, we work with Guigou’s jerseys to craft fluid,
draped dresses and bias-cut dresses that feel like a second skin—
garments that honor the elegance and technical finesse woven into every thread.
