TKA is a maison in Paris, founded by Takashi Nakao.

There are already enough clothes in the world, and enough brands. I am not trying to add more. What I am after is what the French call patrimoine: something cultural that is handed on.

Every piece begins in three dimensions. I build the mock-up myself, on the body, and confirm the silhouette before anything goes to the patternmaker.
